Command & Conquer: Red Alert

A real-time strategy game that takes you to the epicenter of a fictional confrontation between the Soviet Union and European countries. The gameplay here consists of building bases, conducting research, hiring units, and tactical movements around the map with subsequent battles. The balance of the first Red Alert was changed towards simplification compared to the original C&C, but the gameplay only benefited from this — much more strategic opportunities appeared. Be sure to play the Russian version, and install mods if you want — there are a lot of them and they significantly improve the gaming experience.
