Despite the change of setting from noir New York to cheerful Sao Paulo, the atmosphere of Max Payne has been preserved. Time dilation, weapons in both hands, painkillers as first—aid kits, cynical thoughts aloud from the gloomy protagonist, criminal showdowns and hundreds of corpses on the way to redemption - you will find yourself in a whirlpool of incredible events and try to survive in it, relying on accurate shooting and an arsenal of deadly weapons. And yes, there is no Russian voice acting in the game, but it is not needed either — Max is too good in the original and you can listen to him with subtitles at most.
